Definitely visit Ohio again and try lake and geauga county wines. There are some very nice wines in the northern part of our state as well.

This is eye-opening. I have friends living in Ohio, but never think of it as a wine state. Thanks for the reviews - next time I'm visiting, I'll have to check out some of these local haunts. Although, I have to say, hailing from the great wine state of Washington - it's going to be tough to be open minded!

So excited to read about your Ohio tasting. I just missed a Harmony Hill tasting at my local liquor store but I think they're going to organize a field trip to go check out the winery. If I see any bottles of Kinkead Ridge around I might have to snatch them up and send you one!

We're glad you had a good time at Harmony Hill! We're sorry we had no wine available for you to taste.
We are very proud of our estate vinifera (two of our wines were rated in the Top 100 Exciting Wine Finds in the World by Tom Stevenson, British editor of the New Sothebys Wine Encyclopedia) so maybe we can connect if you do a Part II of the Ohio River Valley. Nancy, Kinkead Ridge Estate Winery
